ENERGY & FINANCING / CHECKED 15 OCTOBER 2026

Incentives attach to the complete project, borrower and location. Choose the route before committing to contracts or construction, with an energy expert and financing partner.

Our proposed Germany energy brief is EH55.

The home specification, heating, ventilation, foundations and local design must be assessed together. Technical upgrades and energy-expert fees may be additional. A compact or relocatable holiday unit is not automatically an eligible permanent dwelling.

GERMANY / EH55

Effizienzhaus 55

Up to €100,000

Potential subsidised loan per eligible dwelling under KfW 297/298. The temporary EH55 route currently runs no later than 31 December 2026, subject to available funds. It requires the relevant permit / lawful construction clearance and no oil or gas heating.

GERMANY / HIGHER PERFORMANCE ROUTE

EH40 with QNG

Up to €150,000

Potential subsidised loan per eligible dwelling at the climate-friendly building with QNG tier. Requires the higher efficiency level, sustainability certification and technical conditions. This is a separately assessed upgrade route, not included automatically in the base POP-UP price.

These are loan ceilings, not cash grants, price discounts or guaranteed finance. Interest rates, funding availability and eligibility must be checked at application. No subsidy is deducted from the configurator total. Apply through a financing partner and follow current rules on the timing of commitments.

Support also exists in other EU countries, with different purposes and conditions. These examples are starting points for a destination review.

Austria

Housing support is organised by the federal states. New-build programmes vary by province, household, energy standard and budget. Some provincial allocations may already be exhausted.

France

The PTZ can support qualifying first-time buyers’ new principal residences, subject to income, location and financing rules. It is not a blanket modular-home energy subsidy or a holiday-rental incentive.

Ireland

Help to Buy can support qualifying first-time buyers of new homes and once-off self-builds through a tax refund. Borrower, property and contractor conditions apply; eligibility for a specific off-site home needs assessment.
